Cleveland, Ohio– April 9, 2013: The Blazing River Freedom Band will present their Spring concert live, “How the BRFB Got Their Groove Back” with special singer/performer, Athena Ghost. The concert is open to the public, includes classical and popular music, and admission is by voluntary suggested donation. Many guest musicians from the Lesbian/Gay Band Association’s member bands will be joining us, including members from Indianapolis, Washington DC, New York City, Philadelphia, and Columbus.

This concert celebrates Cleveland’s only LGBT concert band’s return after a year-long break, and will coincide with the LGBA Board of Directors Cleveland Mid-Year Meetings. With Gay Games Cleveland just a year away, this is the perfect opportunity to make music and friends with fellow musicians from the LGBA and preview the Rock and Roll City where the 2014 International Gay Games will be held.

Brandyn Metzko and Tommy Casarona will be conducting the concert.

The concert will be held at 3pm on Sunday, April 14th at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 2595 W 14th st, Cleveland OH 44113
